We are a Conservative synagogue located in upstate New York serving the Jewish population of Gloversville and the surrounding areas since 1891. At 120, we are one of the oldest continuously operating congregations in Upstate New York, We invite you to learn more about Knesseth Israel on this website and join us if you are in the area.

We are fully egalitarian and encourage each person to participate as much as they wish or are able to. Our services are a mixture of Hebrew & English and we welcome members with all levels of Jewish knowlege or experience and diverse backgrounds.
